LOL, you could, if it fits. I just couldnt figure out how to get the perspective of the bed right like the original. I do like it though.

I refuse to do a decal.......I couldn't get my "merry christmas" one to stay on the damn wall for a month! 
Can you come over and just do this for me? You decide everything, I just give you the money for it

the more I look at my room, the more I hate it I need real furniture and ugh, the fact that I ever had the surfer dude picture above my bed, baffles me

Awww, I think your room is cute. Although I agree with the picture, LOL. I wouldnt change your furniture either. I think maybe youre bedding (the fortunoff) one was a little to elegant for the style of the rest of the things in the room, which tend to be more natural and rustic. Maybe once you change the bedding, youll like other thing about the room better.
If you dont want to do a decal, you could do some really tall curly willow reads or something behind the bed. I think if you did simple things like change out the lampshades, new art on the wall (I would leave the shelves and sconces) plus the new bedding, it would change everything.

I totally agree. Make some small changes first and it will be a whole new room to you.
