DH's 2nd SA results - apparently the vitamins work !!
DH and I have been TTC since 3/09 with no success. His first SA was on 8/09 with the following results (normal ranges in brackets)
Vol - 4.6 (greater then 2.0)
Count - 20.5 (greater then 20 mil)
Motility - 63% (greater then 50%)
Progression - 2-2+ (2 is acceptable 3 is average)
WHO Morphology - 1% (30% or more)
Obviously his Morphology was HORRIBLE, with everything else technically "normal" although just barely. Dr. B said if a 2nd test was the same he would suggest going right to IVF.
DH started taking Fertilaid and 200mg of pycnogenol 10/09. We did the 2nd SA last week, and these were the results....
Vol - 4.8
Count - 22.3
Motility - 70%
Progression - 2-2+ (2 is acceptable 3 is average)
WHO Morphology - 31% 
Now with those results Dr. B said that he sees NO reason for going straight to IVF. He suggests 2-3 IUI's first !!
I am sooooooo HAPPY !! I'm also SHOCKED that the vitamins made that much of a difference. I was expecting morphology to go to 4-5% but not 31% !! I know that is the minimum to be considered with WHO standards but I am soooo excited that we might have a shot with IUI's !
Now I just have to wait for AF to start. I'm going to call Dr. B on CD1 - go in on CD3 and get this IUI ball rolling !!
I'm currently on CD32 but have NO idea when I ovulated because I didn't use my CBEFM this month ! So *fingers crossed* that we might not have to do IUI afterall !! I usually have cycles between 29 & 38 days so I really don't know when to expect TBAF !

that's fantastic news!! how incredible is it that those vitamins helped so much!
I have been taking wheat grass pills and acpuncture and it has lowered my FSH - incredible!
