1st Bday Gift Ideas... need lots.
People are starting to ask me what to get for Sasha..
I got her the Anywhere Chair from PBK and a baby laptop.
I told my mom to get this little play kitchen that someone posted yesterday-- thought it looked cute and wasn't big and the month by month frame from PBK.
I don't want anything too big since I live in an apt-- and I know I need to get rid of some other toys-- but they are all pretty small anyway.
So, for like 12 to 24 months-- what are some good toys/products??

I always tell everybody to get Santino books when they ask...imo you can never have too many when it comes to building their library I also tell my family to get him bonds (not fun but good for future!).

blocks
books
stacking cups
sorting shapes
balls
Little Tikes Basketball hoop 
and
and the Fisher Price laugh and learning farm

I would think of stuff that you will need down the line- they get big fast.
Any outdoor toys- ride along cars, wagon, sand table, etc.
Its hard to think of that stuff when its 15 degrees outside

DD's playroom is already filled with toys from Hanukka, so for her 1st birthday im hoping to get some summer stuff. I would love to get her some sort of playhouse, sand box, water table. There is a cute little tykes slide. Books are always a great present. We have a huge library of books and I would like for her to have a bunch too.

some things i asked for b/c dd b-day was right b4 Christmas
a convertable trycicle(found a good deal couldn't pass it up)
clothes/shoes
g/c (you can use gymoboree g/c for classes, just found that out)
little people
mega blocks
books
melissa and doug puzzles
sippy cups/little forks and sppons
high chair cover(when you go out to eat)

My DD got for her first birthday and LOVED:
1) FP Laugh and Learn Say Please Tea Set
2) Fisher Price Grow With Me Kitchen (her absolute FAVORITE thing in the world)

Savings bonds Although only a few people enjoy giving those as gifts.
Stride Rite gift cards are GREAT gifts and you will using.

Thats what I tell them too!! He has so many between his christening, Easter, Christmas, etc
My son has tons of toys that he's just going to outgrow! He's going to be so thankful when he's older and has thousands in bonds

We got all of our major outdoor things for the summer, bc Chels has every toy imaginable...the FP farm is good if you're looking at toys...little people,shes obsessed with, we got some melissa and dough puzzles and she likes playing with them, but she's not really getting it just yet, and I'm scared we're losing the pieces...bc she likes to throw them all over the place and put them in places that I would never search...

I just posted them because DD loves them so much...
Melissa & Doug Alphabet and Nesting blocks ....They are durable cardboard boxes , you can stack
( which she does 3 at a time  ), she also loves to put them inside one another and knock down the towers her brother makes
