Two of my garbage cans were stolen - what to do?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Next time I will put our house number on it, but I'm annoyed.

I had to spray paint my numbers on the cans as well because of the same issue. Stealing trash cans... really???  People are unbelievable sometimes

people are crazy! but they could have blown away. Spray paint your # on them in an obnoxious color. hopefully they won't take them again

The neighbor across the street from my mom stole hers!!! It was so obvious too b/c it's a very distinct color.
We stole it back and spray painted the house number on it.
The best part is that my mom always had the lid for it too!!!

My neighbors stole mine. It was the only one with their house number on it and looks new. We didn't say anything to them, we had just moved in the neighborhood.

We have these labels on our garbage cans and recycling bins. Mabel's Labels curbsides It won't let me post the image.

We've been in our house for 6 years, and we've "lost" at least 4-5 garbage cans.
They probably blow away or someone mistakes yours for theirs.

That happened to us as well last week when we had the windy day. We bought 2 new ones and spray painted the pail & lid
