why is it that when other people look after DS, change his diaper, etc...
...I still end up having to help them!?!?!?
DH comes in and says I'll take care of him for a while. It's not long before he's yelling "I need a diaper cloth...!"
My mom offers to change his diaper before, lays him down and has him half undressed before she goes "Farah, I need a diaper for him!"
I wonder what they think I do when I'm at home on my own? Yell into the abyss and let the elves bring me stuff???
It's nice of them to help, but yeesh!

i know!!!!!!! at this point im doing things with one hand while juggling elephants with the other. i dont get how other people need help. i guess we're just that damn good.

omg this is my DH when DD was a month or two old! Everytime he would do something with her, it would be where's the pacifer, wheres the burp cloth, wheres this wheres that? I finally said, listen I appreciate you doing all this but when I am home by myself I have to get ALL this um, by myself! it doesn't give me a break to run and get all this stuff for you!
He finally got the picture after me telling him this two or three time and doesn't do it anymore.

 thanks for the laugh and know you are so not alone! I llearned to do it right back to everyone when they are around.

OMG DH does this ALL the time. He'll be in her room changing her and he'll scream that he needs wipes/cream...etc. So instead of turning around and getting these things (wipes are in her closet/cream in the hall closet right outside the door)...I have to come from wherever I am in the apt and get them.
