What is everyone doing for NYE?
DH is working  that he doesn't get sent to Times Square
So, I am doing nothing, I was thinking of keeping Christopher up (he goes to bed at 10pm anymore) and having a party with the two of us, but Chris told me I was lame

There's no way I'm making it to midnight....so DH and I will probably just open a bottle of wine after the kiddies are asleep 
(Oh how I hated the days of DH working Times Square...I hope Chris doesn't have to!!)

Probably nothing. I was toying with the idea of making a fancy dinner for DH and I- but now I'm not sure. Feeling kinda lazy. Probably won't make it until midnight.

DH & I didn't realize NYE was tomorrow until like an hour ago LOL (he's home on paternity leave) goes to show how our days are blending lately
We are going to my parents, playing games, being lame

Probably take out and lots of wine -
we were supposed to party w/ friends - but their boys got the flu 
We'll get some cheesy hats and noisemakers and amuse Sean until hs goes to sleep at 9:30 !!

DH is working, he'll leave the house around 9:45pm. So I will hang out with DD until she goes to bed at 7 and see if I make it till 12  I doubt I'll make it.

I plan to be in my jammies, curled up on the couch watching TV.
Thinking of all my friends in NY when you guys get New Years first then waiting for ours.
Maybe a drink in my hand, with the glow of my xmas tree in the background.
I always reflect on New Years .. every year I am amazed how far I've come, what I have accomplished, grateful for all I have and all I've seen.

Staying home and relaxing with DH. My DD will probably be in bed by 8 as usual and we'll just chill out. My girlfriend and her DH might stop by after 9 and hang for a bit. Nothing that exciting.

I feel so bad for DH - none of our friends are doing anything except for one group that's doing a bar crawl... and I'm pregnant so that's not really something I want to do. So we are going to the movies and then I don't know what else.

Nothing, it was never a big one for DH and I anyway.
We do have a countdown each year before the kids go to bed (their regular time) and use noisemakers and yell Happy New Year. The kids get really into it, it's cute.

We are having 17 people here. Ryan will be sleeping in the basement with his cousins. This way the kids won't be disturbed.
We will have a countdown with the kids to 8pm (their bedtime) with noisemakers and such. Then it's adult only time!
I am so excited. This and 4th of July are the only 2 holidays we host. And we go all out.
