starting registry- question

DH and I are going to register this weekend at BRU. Is it easier to start the registry online, or start it in the store and add online later? If you start it online, do things get messed up when you go through the store with the scanner gun?

Re: starting registry- question

You can definitely start it online, because there is a lot of stuff online only that you really don't need to scan in the store like bottles, soothies, etc-small things. Nothing got messed up.

I think I would have gone CRAZY if I started it in the store!!! I started both of mine online and was able to check out the reviews of different products (in the store, you can only go by what you see, no reviews). Then we went to the store to see some of the bigger items (strollers, etc).

I will go back to the store to finalize a number of things, but it's much easier for me to have just a handful of things to look at and choose between, than an entire registry list.

Re: starting registry- question

i'd start it online b/c of the reviews. i would have picked things that got bad reviews and didn't work the way i wanted them to if I just went to the store. it's a lot less overwhelming to start this way, imo.

We started ours online. Since we don't know what we are having yet we did the small things. Like pacifiers & bottles.

we started ours online as well. it was easier to compare all the products and read reviews.

we went into the store to test out the big items and just walk around to see if there was stuff in the store that wasnt online.

for me...starting online was easier because it seemed more organized but at the store u can get ppl to help u.
