recommend you portable dvd player
looking for a portable dvd player to bring on a 2 1/2 hour flight. Prefer one that has a loooooong battery life, can have headphones plugged in, and a plus would be the car harness.
Not looking to spend a fortune either
any suggestions???

I bought the 8" version of this one from Sony last year for Christmas -- apparently it now only comes in 9" variety, but the battery life is great and picture quality fantastic.

Unfortunately if you want a good battery life, they will cost a little extra compared to the lower cost ones that may not have a good battery time on it. We used our DVD player when we were traveling to Vegas, and watched 2 movies back to back on it with plenty of time left before it needed to be charged.

We have Phillips 7" ones. They are on clearance now at Walmart and Target, I paid about $80 earlier this month. The batteries last enough for a 2.5 hour flight, but not much longer than that.
