Help- TV related
My mom recently got a flat screen and is getting rid of her Sony WideScreen Projection TV (46"). I want to put an ad for her on Craigslist but I'm not sure how much to ask for it...she paid around $3K for it 6 years ago...I'm thinking $500? Is that too much? Please advise! Thanks! we have one that i just listed on craigs list
its a 63" widescreen projection that was about 2K; we listed it for 400 but i think that was too low; remember you can always go lower if no one responds

Why don't you check out other, similar models on sale on Craigslist to see what they're going for? If there aren't any similar ones on sale in L.I., check the NYC one and maybe the Philadelphia or Boston Craigslists for comparable markets/prices.

I had a 55" projection tv listed on CL for best offer. We received 2 offers for no more than $200. We ended up giving it to a family member.

i think its a lot only bc you can now get a brand new flat screen for close to that.

Thanks everyone! I listed it as $300, but I'd take an offer of even $150...at this point my mom just wants somebody to take it off her hands.

we just sold ours few months ago for 250. It was the same size and looked exactly the same from your pic. DH bought it about 5yrs ago for almost 3000.
