husband's 30th b-day
My husband is turning 30 in Late June and I already booked a trip to Texas for us and our 2 daughters for a week in Mid July as his gift (he's never been there before)
Should I still have a little get together for him on his actual birthday for some family and friends to attend? Or do invite some people to join us at Lunch or something?
ANy suggestions would be appreciated!

I always like to at least have a cake on my birthday, even if we have plans to do something at an alternate time to celebrate.
I think he might really like a gathering at your house with some friends - can you do a BBQ or something simple?
