Babies and a two-story house...
Do you feel like all you're doing is running up and down the steps all day long? As soon as I come home from work it's up to change and clean Mason up, then down to feed him... woops, I forgot a bib so it's back upstairs, then I forgot a burp cloth... back up again... and so on.
I take it as my exercise for the day

Yep, us too. It's actually what our TV stand has become. A baby drawer.
Extra diapers, wipes, bibs, binkies, etc.

Re: Babies and a two-story house...
We have a PNP in the dining room that is stocked with the essentials - bibs, burp cloths, diapers, wipes, extra clothing, diaper cream, etc... it's like a scaled-down version of his nursery.

Re: Babies and a two-story house...
I have a portable changing pad from skip hop.
I plan to keep extra diapers, wipes and other essentials in the laundry room, which is right across from the den.
although, I could USE the extra exercise God knows
ETA:
this is what we use. we don't have a changing table anywhere, not in our house and not in our apt.

That's what we did too....except PNP was in living room....but now we realized we don't use it that often so we packed it up because it was taking up too much room...so the swing holds extra bibs, burp clothes and to change her we just run upstairs

I keep everything downstairs. Learned my lesson when DS was born. Have a wicker basket with everything in it.

Re: Babies and a two-story house...
I used the pack and play for changing and for storing all the extra diapers, bibs, etc so I would not have to run up and down all day. I tried to take everything I needed on my first 2 trips down to bring them both downstairs.

Re: Babies and a two-story house...
I have a changing station downstairs w/diapers, wipes, bibs, powder, ointments, etc. I dress them for the day as soon as they wake up. The only time I go upstairs is to put them to sleep!! I couldn't imagine leaving all that stuff upstairs!
