Duct Cleaning
Hi-
I am looking to get the ducts cleaned on the house I just bought. Does anyone have any companies to recommend?
Sears service quoted us $300, which seems high to me.
There is a coupon in a local paper for a whole house duct cleaning for $69.95, but that sounds too good to be true, and the company isn't listed with the BBB.
Any thoughts?

This is who we used...

I believe it was $300
My friends DH works for them. We were told to make sure that whoever you hire uses a truck, not those backpacks.

I think we used BAQ also when we did ours.
I think ours was in total $370, but it was one of the better prices - I think they charge you by # vents or something. But they did a good job. We'll probably use them again.
I think we also paid sales tax, but if you have cash on hand to pay, they don't charge you tax (which we didn't know or thought to ask)..

I called them too - $309 for 9 vents and 2 returns
Cunningham is who the previous owner used - I called them about a year ago and was quoted around 300 but never had it done
