i <3 Bologna
When I was little I used to eat bologna and american cheese with mayo on white bread.
Needless to say...I have been craving one for ages, and I KNOW it's bad, but I couldn't resist. At the supermarket today, I bought beef bologna...and tomorrow's lunch will be a sandwich.
PLEASE tell me that one measly bologna sandwich will be okay!!!!!!
ETA: I can't spell.

If you want to be a bit more cautious, I used to eat a melted american cheese and bologna sandwich on rye bread as a kid and it actually came to my mind the other day. Enjoy whatever you decide!

I keep craving bologna and cheese sandwiches too and have had 1 a week for the last 2 or 3 weeks. And I ate cold cuts thru my whole pregnancy with DS and he is perfect. I just make sure to get them somewhere I trust (usually my supermarket) and eat them the day I buy them. Enjoy!

Bologna was one of my first cravings! LOVE it! I have cold cuts from time to time too. I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

It is FINE! I ate hard salami almost everyday my entire pregnancy last time. As long as you get the cold cuts from a supermarket or deli that is clean and has s quick turnover, you will be fine!!  Enjoy! Now I want one too!!

I havent eaten a regular sandwich since my BFP I HAVE eaten sandwiches from Subway or quiznos toasted!...So i get my fix. I am a BIG baby about eating things we 'shouldnt'

Cold cuts get recalled for listeria. Which leads me to believe that cold cuts won't "get" listeria- it will already have it or not when it's in the deli case, right? So I was thinking that if a cold cut DIDN'T have listeria then you could eat like a whole bunch from the same cut of meat. SO, haha my deductive prego reasoning says that I have nothing to fear if I buy a pound and a half of something and then eat like 10 sandwiches from it so long as I don't like die of Listeria the first time... I don't know if this is right or wrong since some of you guys are talking about cleanliness, age, etc. Just my idea to rationalize my cold cut consumption...
