New LR rug... need help with pillows!

After having our little girl 2 months ago, we're finally getting back into decorating our house!

We got a new rug for the living room finally. I loved the colors in this rug and am hoping you guys can help me find some throw pillows for the couch to tie everything together... actually pillow covers would be great. Maybe with some blue (the blue that's in the rug) in them?

I also want to change the curtains eventually. We haven't added pictures to the photo collage above the couch yet and the sectional is staying for now b/c it's huge and comfy and buying a new couch is last on the list right now.

Here's the LR with the new rug:

Re: New LR rug... need help with pillows!

I have no suggestions on the pillows but where did you get the rug? I love it!

Re: New LR rug... need help with pillows!

i just saw that rug in target! it's beautiful! i would check homegoods. they had pillows in every size, shape and color. i found what i was looking for in about 30 secs.

Jess, love the rug. Great choice.

I know BBB has pillow covers, but they usually don't have a large selection of them. Do you know of any where else that does in FL?

I would def. bring that blue color onto the couch and maybe one Green/gray one to bring the wall in.

IMO, I would go with larger chocolate brown pillows, with small blue or green accent pillows.

Re: New LR rug... need help with pillows!

love the rug!

i just started looking for pillows for our new couch and i haven't found anything yet - our couch is like a very dark camel color so i am looking for very light creamy pillows to match with the rug we got and the curtains i want to put up...

i tried looking on pottery barn, crate and barrel, target, bbb and even walmart....i do remember seeing some nice pillows that had green and blue in them.....if i see anything that i think would match your new rug i will let you know!

ps: we were 1000% inspired by you for our living/dining room and did the same flooring and paint color! i hope you don't mind

Re: New LR rug... need help with pillows!

I got pillows at Kohls a few months ago that were that aqua blue and had brown circles stitched on them. They came as a pair and got them on sale for $17! I would check them out GL

Re: New LR rug... need help with pillows!

Pier 1, Crate & Barrel and PB have great pillows right now!

An aqua blue or cream colored pillows would look great.
