Here is my (long) story if anyone is interested:
I have been on this board a while. I did 3 IUIs all BFN. I had my first ivf cancelled after 8 days of stim with LI IVF. I did another ivf with them that was a BFN but gave me 4 frosties including the one that is now my baby. I also did a frozen cycle with LI IVF which was BFN.
Then I moved onto Dr B. I have elevated NK cells and a DQ Alpha match. He treated my immune issues and then I did a fresh cycle with him. I got pg but had a blighted ovum and miscarried and had a D&C in Jan. I did another fresh cycle with him in June- BFN.
We were lucky enough to have insurance coverage for 2 ivfs and 2 fets. We paid OOP for the last ivf. The only thing we had left were the 2 frosties at LI IVF and one insurance covered FET.
I was set to move my embies to Dr B and have my FET when the whole "change" occurred. I was very nervous being that we only had 2 embies left. I was honest with Dr B about being scared of all of the changes. I researched and found that RMA has one of the highest success rates for FETs around. Plus they were willing to take my embies, many places were not. I loved Dr. Flisser, his staff etc But honestly I would love anyone, anyone who got and kept me pg.
I had to move my embies from LI IVF to RMA. It was harder than it sounds. RMA wanted me to use their cannister which could not be picked up before 9am and had to be dropped off by 3. Fed Ex would not guarantee the drop off time. I had to go to the city get the cannister, go to Melivlle, get the embies and go back to the city. I wound up hiring a car service my mom uses (she is friends with the guy) and paid him$300 to do it. A drop in the bucket at this point and anything to eliminate stress from my end.
Anyway, everything else went perfectly. As soon as I found out I was pg I called Dr B and he got the intrallipids for me and has been supervising my immune issues. He has been there for me 100% even though I "cheated" on him with RMA. I can't say enough about RMA either. They are wonderful. I am completely blessed!
