Could this be teething-related?

I just visited my DD at daycare and she was about to have her post-lunch bottle so I sat down with her to feed her. She seemed eager to get the bottle but after a few sucks would spit all the milk out! She was pretty cranky when I got there too. It seemed like she wanted to chew on the bottle but not drink anything. Is this a teething symptom? Anyone else ever see this? I'm worried she's wasting a whole bottle by spitting it out and won't have enough food for the day.

She is 8 months.

TIA!

When DS was teething he def went through periods of pushing away the bottle. I don't remember him spitting out the milk, but every kid will handle the discomfort differently. We also dealt with runny noses, extra drool and bright red cheeks when he was teething.

Thanks. She hasn't cut any teeth yet so I still don't know what to look for! She does get bright red cheeks sometimes too. Oh well, I hope she eats enough today!
