12.5 months old and only 1 nap?
DS stopped his morning nap and now takes a 1-2 hour nap in the late morning/early afternoon. He was taking one when he got home from daycare but for the last 2 weeks he hs refused to go to sleep. For the past 2 days we've had to put him to bed 30 minutes earlier b/c he is so tired. Is 1 nap normal for a 12 month old?

welcome to my world! we are lucky b/c DS naps for 3 hours. but we didn't have to move up his bedtime - it's always been between 7 and 7:30pm
he started doing this around 12 months, i think it's normal.

My DD started 1 nap at 16 - 17 months but my DS has been on one nap since about a year.
They both nap 1 - 3, but sometimes my DS will fall asleep for a few minutes in the car if we are out too close to nap time.
