Pediatrician in Levittown area
Okay girls, I am a bit behind in the search for a pediatrician (I am 33 weeks today). Any information you could share with me on these pediatricians before I start making calls would be helpful (hours, number of doctors in practice, anything you have heard about them). I already have some notes I took from the information on the Aetna website. Thank you in advance!

I live in Levittown and use a doctor in Merrick. I absolutely love him. He is very laid back (like me) and is not quick to put kids on medicine. He is Jewish so he has Sunday hours but not Saturday. in 3 yrs I have never waited long to see him and sick kids go right into exam room. I always get an appt same day if DS is sick. He was referred to me by a friend who has been going there 14 yrs and has 3 kids and another friend who has 2 and has been going there 4 yrs. If you want to check him out his name is Dr Jeffrey Silverstein and he is on Merrick Ave in Merrick.

We use Dr. Zaso and love him! He is really great with the kids, his staff is really nice, we never wait long and always get in right away if my DS is sick.

I went to ProKids as a child, they were on Wantagh Ave. in Wantagh at that time.
If Dr. Drucker is still there, I highly recommend her!! 
ETS i JUST googled ProKids and Susan Drucker is still there, so is Ronald Khan, he is the BEST (I thought that by now he might have retired). I might consider using this practice

I'm going to use Dr. Grillo. Both my sister-in-laws use him, 4 kids between them of all ages and everyone (adults and kids) are very happy with him and his practice. Plus I've read good reviews from others as well.

I vote for Drs. Honigman & Levine at 3601 hemp tpke. 26 Years ago they literally saved my life (very long story.) I"m not sure about the others but def look into them.
