Another RE question
I have been looking at renting a condo/coop and have found a couple off of craigslist. There is one listing from someone who does not appear to be that "professional." I wanted to make sure before i fork over a broker fee that you do indeed need to be a licensed REA....what credentials should I obtain from this person?

Not sure - maybe ask them for references?

Re: Another RE question
you will know if you are renting from an agent - you will most likely go to their office to sign the lease, they will run a credit check etc.
you could also ask to see there pocket card or lic
the number you call for the apartment will most likely be a real estate office
