Paint Question
Is it normal that paint comes out on walls darker than in the can or sample? We got some paint samples and colors looked PERFECT in the little sample jar (and on the little sample dot they put on outside of jars.) DH put up the samples last night and I went to see them just now - SO DARK! All the colors - much much darker than what it looks? Is that normal? I guess I'm going to have to go really light on colors- knowing they'll look darker. FWIW - our house is very light and airy - lots of windows - so I dont get it!
Also weird - saw people's pics of BM Kittery Green and loved it - got sample - so dark on our walls!

Re: Paint Question
This was just the sample. Walls are colored so DH put down a section of white over the color and then the sample over the white.

Re: Paint Question
Yes, that's pretty typical. Paint often dries a bit darker. Plus, it often seems darker when it's a large area of paint, rather than just a small sample.
