West Hempstead?
Yes or no? I know it gets a bad rep b/c of having Hempstead in its name, but a friend just told me it's actually a nice area.... true or false? lol

My Aunt lives in West Hempstead and its very nice, however there are parts of west hempstead that isnt so nice.

really depends on the area......
and idk anything about the school district....
but i can see the sign for west hempstead from the parking lot of my office and i am in hempstead and this area is soooooo not good

We moved and my parents moved from West Hempstead. Good parts and bad parts...more so bad...

some parts are gorgeous. The Cathedral Gardens section, in particular. The area that borders Garden City is nice and the area near St. Thomas the Apostle Church is also beautiful. I don't know much about the schools, sorry!
