has anyone ever thrown out a garbage can?
Our cans have seen better days and now I think "critters" are getting in through the bottom holes (from when I drag them down our long driveway), b/c I see things sticking out through (a bag, cheese wrapper, etc)
do I put them at the curb with a note on them? My garbage men are really good, but I'm worried that they might overlook them?

You just turn the garbage can over and they will take it. Also, you might want to put a note on it.

When I threw out garbage cans - I taped notes to them that said "TAKE ME!" They took 'em.

You do like my garbage men do. You fill it up and they take it as trash. Even if you don't want to trash it.
They are so not gettting a tip this year. Like every year, since they do the worst job.
