is it possible to get a BFP on a reg test but a negative on a digital?
one of my gf's took two regular tests and the second line came up (really light) so she went and got a digital and it said not pregnant. can this be? she had her last MC on 7.1 and they weren't ttc - someone told her to take a test bc she gained weight. can she really be pregnant? her cycles are pretty regular every 28 days, her last MC was lighter then usual. what do you think???????????

yup, very possible - digitals are not as sensitive. tell her to wait a few days and test again with a digital.

My BFP didn't appear on a digital til almost 2 days later . Mind you I had 2 lines on like 6 other tests before that

This also happened to me...15 + tests but dig still said Not Pregnant until the day my period was due( 3 days later) and I had already had my 1st beta drawn so I knew it was +

IF her last AF was 7/1 and she has a 28 days cycle then she would either be
A) She would have only O'd maybe the beginning of this week and I doubt any test could come out positive this early
B) If she thinks she got pregnant last month and the 7/1 af was not really af - then I think it would be plenty of time for a digital to come back positive. Did she wait longer than the box says - she could have gotten a light evaporation line if she didn't read the directions correctly and checked much later than you are suppossed to
I guess anything is possible but I would lean towards not being pg with info provided......

Possibly- but it could also be leftover hcg in her system from her mc. Was she monitored while it dropped?

Im thinking the same thing. If she mc 17 days ago then that positive test may be left over hcg. with a normal 28 day cycle u would ideally O on cd 14 and get a positve result anywhere from cd 24 to cd 28. If shes only on cd 17 AFTER a mc i would lean more towards it being left over hcg.

i would day take the 5 day sooner onces EPT or Clear Blue ones that have pregnant/not pregnant on them
