Sex after C-Section
Ok... so DH and I couldn't wait the 6 weeks and tried a few days ago at 4 and a half weeks. It was pretty painful and I didn't think it would because I didn't have a vaginal birth. Anyone know why that is?

Could be because your uterus is stitched together and still healing. There are other muscles used, than just your vaginal ones, during sex.

I had scheduled and had no pain the first time also around 4 ish weeks.

I had a c section also. I did wait the full six weeks and it still was pretty painful...I hope it gets better...

I waited 4 weeks and the first time was NOT fun, I am not sure exactly why but it is normal from everyone I have spoken too

Nope... called a crash c-section. Long story short I was at the hospital b/c I was sched to be induced. I was 10 days late... Doc said he couldn't induce b/c I was contracting every min even though I didn't feel it and the baby's HR dropped... they had to rush me to the OR and put me totally under to get the baby out ASAP. Not the best way to deliver, but we're all healthy and fine now

I had a c-section also and havethe same issue....it seems that maybe from lack of use my va-jay-jay reverted back to it's 12 year old state!

I had sex around 4 or 5 weeks PP after a VERY long labor and 2plus hours of pushing with ultimate Csec.
The first time we just took things very slow and it was slighly painful but I think I was more nervous than anything, which made it worse.
Give it a few more times and you should be ok. Also, they say to use lots of lube bc your hormones tend to dry things up a bit.

I thought the SAME thing the first time we did it post C-section. I felt like a born again virgin!!!

same here, even at 10 weeks post partum which is the first time we DTD. it's lack of lube and lack of use  you'll be fine after a few more times.

I had a c-section and I waited the 6 weeks and the first time it was uncomfortable ~ It gets better. Maybe wait a couple more weeks?
