My Baby Girl is HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our tiny miracle Lilly Annaliese was born Friday, June 26 at 10:37 pm.
For those that don't know my story- My water broke prematurely at 28 weeks ( called pPROM- preterm premature rupture of membranes) and I have been on hospital bedrest since May 27.
My good little girl stayed put in my belly for over 4 weeks so she could grow some more & I could deliver her at just over 32 weeks.
She is teeny at 4lb 5oz, but she is the perfect little doll & it doing GREAT! No oxygen needed, no feeding tube (yet) had a nice APGAR score of 9.9.
Lilly was delivered successfully via VBAC, the whole process was intense but beautiful...and luckily QUICK! Started active labor around 7pm, was pushing by 10:15, then out she came after 20 minutes.
I finally get to go home today after a very long, stressful, emotional journey.
It's bittersweet since I get to go home to see my 3 year old Alexandra, but I am coming home without Lilly.
I don't have pictures yet, but will post as soon as I have some time.
Ok, off to see my sweet girl in the NICU...
