july moms...... are you dialated or effaced yet???
i had my 37 week appt today and i am only a fingertip dialated and starting to soften. i am really praying that i at least go on time! im not freaking out as much as i was i am so ready to meet this baby! im sooo uncomfortable esp. @ night.

at 35weeks i was a fingertip an soft. but thats about it.. and looks as though i will need a c section in about 2 weeks!! im READY! i think

i am 39 weeks today... as of wednesday, i was not dilated and am 50% effaced.
the doctor told me that being dilated is no sign of when the baby will come. it just means that when labor starts and you're already dilated, you will probably go faster. i didn't know that... i thought it meant the baby would come quicker!

i'm 36 weeks and a "solid 1cm" dilated. she didn't tell me about effacement, but last pregnancy at this time i was 30%, so i'm assuming about that.
it's true, how progressed you are doesn't really make labor start any earlier (even though i like to think it does  ). it does mean that you have less to accomplish when you actually go into labor, which is a nice perk 
last time around i was 3cm already when labor started, so i pretty much skipped the early labor phase and went directly into active labor. on one hand it was scary and overwhelming - no time to ease into the process - but on the other hand, it was quick!

at 35 weeks I was nothing... at 36 weeks he didn't do an internal. I'm hoping at my appointment this week he does, because I'm really curious to know if I am!

At my 35w 5 day appointment my cervix was getting soft...that's all she said 
Hoping when I go back on Tuesday (37 weeks) that I made some good progress!
