May have been asked but - Mosquito protection
I hate to spray insect repellant on me, nontheless on a 13 month old, but they are out already and I remember last year those stupid bugs were rediculous and they finally sprayed with airplanes and such at the end of the summer.
What can you do to keep the bugs off a child under 18 months old?

I think I'm going to get some of those bracelets since I'm not crazy about putting Deet on my kids. I'm not sure how well they work though, maybe someone else can chime in about them. Avon's Skin so Soft works well I've heard.

I think there is an "Off Kids" but I don't know what is in it or how good it works.

My cousin was just telling me that keeping a fan outside near you keeps moquitos away ...Anyone hear of this?

I used Off Kids when I was PG thinking it was safe until my friend told me not to use it bc it has Deet. SO last year I just used netting and this year I've just been spraying his stroller (but we havent been out much due to rain). We'll prob try skin so soft!

Any retailers sell the skin so soft? I haven't bought that in years and I don't know anyone selling Avon at this point. Just easier to get it at the store if that's even possible.

Most malls have an Avon kiosk.
I order it pretty regularly and have a woman I use, if you want her name. I do it all on-line.

i used that online website skindeep.com to find an insect repellent that doesnt contain a bunch of dangerous chemicals etc and i found "burts bees herbal insect repellent" had a great rating so i bought two containers of it for me, my dh and dd.....only thing is not only was it pricey but they were 4floz bottles which are pretty small so if it works i will definitely have to buy more soon before the end of the summer
