Thomas the Train Park?

I thought there was a park in Penn or NY that was all Thomas. I have searched for it but all I find is A Day with Thomas, which is a limited time event moving from place to place. Am I crazy? Isnt there a permament Thomas Land somewhere??

Re: Thomas the Train Park?

I found this online

Not sure if there's a park per se, but we've seen Thomas a couple different places. The biggest (=craziest, busiest, etc.) was in Strasburg, Pennsylvania (southeast PA, Lancaster County). It's a big train area--Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, National Toy Train Museum, ChooChoo Barn (huge train layout), Strasburg Railroad (which is where Thomas was), all very, very cool. I'm sure you could find info on the Strasburg Railroad easily enough, they would know the details. But if you go, be prepared--it's really mobbed, and it'll be hot (think they only do it in the summer). Check out Cherry Crest Farms for their corn maze and lots of other cool farm activities, too. We've also seen a different version of Thomas (not quite so realistic as the STrasburg one) up here in southeastern NY state where we live--I think there's probably at least one traveling version. But the Strasburg version was cool because lots of the other characters from the videos were there too (been a few years, don't remember them...the guy with the top hat, etc.). Good luck!!

I never heard of a park but we are going to the Train Museum in Stardsburg. We are not going when Thomas is there because it is way too crazy for me then.

We are going later in June after they leave and then going to Sesame Place.

When I showed Andrew the trains we are going to see he thought it was Annie & Clarabel from ThomasChat Icon

Never been there so don't know how it is. Only been to Day Out With Thomas in CT and its really fun for them if they love Thomas.
