Abnormal bloodwork

My Dr called me out of nowhere and told me that one of my blood results came back abnormal. I'm totally confused and very upset. She called late and of course the office is closed now. I have to go back for blood work, so I'm going to call tomorrow and see if they can take me asap. I was told a normal Spina Bifida result was 2:40 and mine read 2:10. Has anyone had a misreading and everything turn out okay?

First . Second as hard as it is remain calm until you can talk to your obgyn in the morning to have them explain what the numbers mean. Good luck!!!

I wouldn't stress out too much until you talk to your Dr.
These blood test are not perfect and if something comes back as a high risk it doesn't mean a whole lot in the long run. I have heard of way too many false positives, so try to relax until tomorrow.
