Really dumb question, I'm afraid to even ask the IT guys....
I just inserted a thumb drive into my computer. Now how do I view the files??....

There should be an icon that pops up onto your desktop that is shaped like a drive. Click on that and it should have your files.

Open My Computer - there should be a listing for a removable drive which should be your thumb drive.
