Makeup artist Question -if you have had your makeup done please help
So I am having my makeup done for something, and I asked the makeup artist what I need to bring, like my own lipstick etc.
He told me nothing. he has everything I will need.
Is this ok?? I'm so scared of germs and I'm really nervous about using the lipsticks he will provide.
I don't have a choice in the lip colors or makeup choices so I can't force him to use mine.
Does anyone know how this works??

makeup artists use a clean lip brush to apply, I wouldn't worry about it. but if you feel that strongly about it, bring your own lipstick.

Like the PP stated, they use a clean lip brush and it's fine. Some will even carry different lipsticks (specific line that they're affiliated with) and you can buy the lipstick from them directly (it's a new tube.)

I wouldn't be concerned about germs, bc as pps have said, they are supposed to use clean brushes. I am a little surprised he didn't tell you to bring your own lipstick though, only bc everytime I have gotten my makeup done they have wanted to match the lipstick to what I had bc I would have to touch it up on my own during the night.

you will probably end up buying a lipstick from him or he may include it in the price.
As the other posters said, it's all hygenic with clean brushes.
