Should I open DD's gift from co-worker now?
My co-worker brought me a gift for DD's 1st birthday. I know what it is, she told me it is a dress. But I feel funny, I am not sure if I should open it now in front of her or wait until I get home.
What would you do?

This is my random way- if it's in a gift bag open it, if it's a wrapped package keep it wrapped.
Although when DH gets gifts for DS he always brings them home for me to open.

I'd say "would you like me to open it now or have DD open it tonight?". I've done it before.
