recommend a granite place in nassau
thank you. we had pipes burst and are trying to get a good price on granite so we can upgrade from the regular coutertop we use to have. we don't really want to have to much $$ out of pocket.

We used E&S in Farmingdale. Small family-owned business. They cut and installed the countertops (I priced out about three other places and they were the least expensive).
We picked out our stone from European Granite and Marble in Farmingdale.

we just got our granite from Home Depot.. we got a great price for it.. and they are running a sale now too!

We just used Napoli in Seaford... Amazing. Can't say enough about how great they were to work with and they have amazing prices

Thats my ex's mother(we dated 10 yrs and then broke up after getting engaged b/c he was a s**m bag), his brother usually works the showroom and he does the installs....not going there, but thanks anyway. Lol!! sorry for the TMI!

Renessance Granite on Denton Ave in New Hyde Park. We priced around (even Napoli in Seaford ) and they were the best price and had the largest selection.

I'm actually looking for granite also. A friend of mine gave me a name of a place in Brooklyn, "lee's stone supply", she said the place is DIRT cheap, its a warehouse and they only have a few slabs to pick from, but her kitchen came out great. They also have cabinets, she got a brand new kitchen (fairly large) for under 5K (cabinets, granite WITH an island!)
P.S. i will not be going to Napoli either !

We got ours from Stone Edge on Rte. 110 (I believe that's where it is..or in Hicksville, I forgot).

I'm having a hard time getting decent prices out here on the east end. Everyone seems to think the recession never happened and wants to charge top dollar - $80 for an average/same grade that Ikea charges $45 for. I'm willing to travel, but am looking for a sense of prices first.
Home Depot can actually be pretty expensive too. When I did my last kitchen five years ago, to my surprise, HD's was the highest estimate I got of four, by far. I went with a local place which did a beautiful job. I am waiting for a price from them, but have a feeling that their prices have changed drastically since back then.
Can anyone recommend recommend any places that have done granite for $45 a sq ft installed? Thanks.

K and K in Bethpage - The nicest slabs we have seen - excellent customer service and a great price. Their granite is maintenance free too
