moms of 2 or more.. who bfed both or all..
After you gave birth to your second, was breastfeeding easier? did it seem to come more natural?
I had alot of difficulty with dd, but I was able to bfed for a few months. Im starting to freak out now that baby #2 is almost here.. I know it will defiantly be different b/c now Ill have a toddler to worry about too, but just in general im worried it wont work out.

DD#1 did not latch DS latched but was colic so I did it for a short time DD #2 is 5 months old on the 15th and still going strong with BF. It was SO easy with her after we got through that period of painful latching.
ETA: DD#2 latched immediately!

Did you find that your milk supply kicked in quicker?

Re: moms of 2 or more.. who bfed both or all..
I BF with baby #2 and #3.
My first DD never latched on. I could only get her to latch with a nipple shield. even with help(from a LC) I never could get her to do it so I pumped.
My second DD latched on like a pro 5 minutes after she was born. It was way easier with her.
My milk seemed to take just as long to come in the second time around.

sooooooo much easier for me. DD#1 was colicky so we had all sorts of problems surrounding that, DD#2 is the total opposite and i don't even think twice about the bfing. its gets done and no bottle packing and washing
ETA: milk came in 1 day earlier...

BFing #2 was so much easier then #1. I kind of knew what to do from the beginning which helped a lot.

Re: moms of 2 or more.. who bfed both or all..
#2 was so much easier than #1. With my first it was struggle to get him to latch and then he would fall asleep. One nursing session lasted about an hour and it was terrible because he would constantly dose off. At around 5.5 weeks I developed mastitis and I could pump and feed him enough so I threw in the towel. With DD she latched immediately and I did it for 11 months exclusively. She was a very efficient nurser which helped so much. My sessions with her lasted the longest 15 minutes.
Definitely try again, I was more calmer the second time around and they sense that. I also felt it was easier having a toddler and nursing because one hand was always free and I could walk around and do stuff as opposed to holding a bottle.

Had no problems BF both my kids.
It was actually easier this time for me since I already knew how to do it, and DS latched on right away without any problems. Julia though always finds a way to get into something while I'm BF her brother is like she knows I can't stop her--lol
