Need suggestions for a restaurant in or near Manhasset
I want to send a Gift Certificate to someone as a thank you and they live in Manhasset. I'm a s. shore gal so I'm clueless about restaurants on the N. Shore other than Peter Lugers and Burton and Doyle. What places should I consider? I want to send a $50 gc so I don't want to pick a restaurant that's so expensive that my gc won't buy them anything.  Thanks!

I love Toku. Mims is in Roslyn and quite good!
Cipollinis is notorious for poor service.

my fathers friend has a restaurant; an italian restaurant; in pt washington called DiMaggios. Its on Pt Washington BLVD; just take the street that Americana is on all the way down into Pt Washington and its on the left hand side. small place but excellent home italian food.
