How do I get my avatar to look crisp and clear?
The original photo is totally crisp and clear, but when I upload it here, it looks cr-a-ppy. Any suggestions?

There's a max size that you can upload. If you exceed that, they will optimize the photo for you using their automated optimizer tool.
If you can optimize it yourself on your computer first, then the tool will not take effect.
