colored dressers
Ok so our crib is an antique white and I don't want to buy the matching dresser..... I have this "thing" with matching
I know, ridiculous.
I would love to find a antique looking dresser in a "fun" color. Pink, turqoiuse, yellow....anythign but wood color or white..... I want to put the changing pad on top so it needs to be a lowe dresser, not high.
ANyone know where I can find something like this??
Oh yeah, I'm 30 weeks and I still haven't decided on this....
I could care less at this point if it comes on time or not.

Re: colored dressers
adorable idea, if my nursery was alittle bigger i wouldve done this as well, i feel like because of size i was limited to antique white to make the room seem larger.. check with behrsfurniture.com they are in long island, but i know in the showroom they have adorably beautiful colored furniture...
now that im thinking of it, i saw a BEAUTIFUL set at Sukons in queens too.. they had a baby gold vintage with gold antiquing on the sides..and a very very light pink with gold antiquing as well..the dressers were on the smaller side, but if you do them with the armoire, or you do the armoire instead, it would be gorgeous...lemme see if i can find the brochure i had for this set.. it was BEYOND beautiful..only reason i didnt take it was because the crib detailing was on the sides, instead of the front, and i felt like you had to caddy corner something like that, and like i said i dont have the room ill check and get back to you!!

The Stanley My Haven line comes in 30 different colors. They have a rustic look to them.

Re: colored dressers
ahh i found it!! Its from the company Natart and it is the Verona collection..the colors cant be seen true to eye online, but they are called Romeo Blue, and Lovers Blush..just so you know, (i forget if youre having a or ) the blue is DEFINATELY able to be used for both, if youre doing a blue themed girls room (which can be VERY sweet) the pink, id stick to a girl :) lol you definately have to see where they retail at, because to see it in person is much different, you can see the rubbed finish, and to me, thats what makes it most beautiful
this is the set in both colors..im so mad i didnt get it!
acccckkkk, ok my images wont resize but i sent them to your regular email :)
if anyone else is interested in looking go to www.natartfurniture.com and click on Verona collection

Re: colored dressers
THank you all for the suggestions so far... I will look into them all!
I can't believe that some of the dressers out there are more than the crib Geeez............ And I didn't pick out an inexpensive crib!
