DD is sick...which humidifier? and advice?
she had a runny nose yesterday...didnt sleep last night and has a fever today  this is her first cold so i cant really complain but i am going to get her a humidifier but which do you recommend? do i get cool or warm mist?
also do you have any other advice? just been giving her tyneol for the fever and constantly wiping boogies 
eta: she is 9 months

I have a cool mist. My ped said that was better..warm mist can breed bacteria. I think mine is Vicks.
We're battling a cold here too...I would keep doing what you're doing. 
If the fever keeps up though, call the ped!

I have the Vicks Cool Mist Pediatric humidifier
$20 at Target....can't beat that..
I hope your DC feels better!

I think we have the same one and it does help a lot.
I also got the cool mist for the fact that if it falls, no one will get burned by anything.

I have both - the Vicks Cool and Warm mist humidifiers. DS responded better to the Warm one as far as the running nose and clearing his head. The cool one is noisier too!

Our house gets very dry in the winter so we have humidifiers running at night in both our room and DS's. We have a Hunter cool mist. I think we got them online and they were about $25. If anything happens to them, you call Hunter and they replace it for free.

Vick's Cool Mist.... love it and we use it for white noise as well. works great!
