Much better doctor's appointment

I had the NST today, which went well. I was supposed to feel at least 2 movements within 20 minutes and I felt a lot more than that within the first 5 minutes. The nurse took my BP during the test and it was 144/104. The doctor later had me lie on my left side and my BP was 134/82. Since I lie on my left side while on bedrest, he was satisfied with the lower BP.

Then, I had a sono to check my fluid levels, which I guess were fine. Once again, the baby's fist blocked half of his or her face. It's nice to keep getting pictures even if I only see part of the baby's face. I didn't have an internal since I had one on Monday.

I honestly thought I was going to be induced today b/c of my BP. On Monday, the doctor told me to pack a bag and be prepared that I may be admitted to L&D after this appointment. I'm really glad I was able to go home. DH and I are planning on moving into our house this weekend. I'm not doing anything other than driving to the house since I'm on bedrest, but it's nice to know I should at least be around for the move.

If I haven't gone into labor, I have an appointment on Monday afternoon. If I've made any more progress or if my BP is still high, I'll be induced that day. If not, I have an induction scheduled for Thursday morning. The doctors are still concerned about my BP so they won't let me go past 38 weeks (next Thursday). I can't believe I'll be in labor within a week.
