Just got back from my first U/S

Just got back from my first U/S
I'm 5 weeks and they saw a gestational sac and a small yolk sac in my uterus but no fetal pole or heartbeat. The dr. said this is normal to see at 5 weeks. This is great news for me because my last pregnancy was ectopic! (This is the reason I got the very early ultrasound).
I will remain a bit nervous until I see a heartbeat, but I know I should try to relax and be grateful for the good news I got today. I go back in 2 weeks for my 7 week ultrasound and then the dr says I should see a fetal pole and heartbeat.
It's so hard to relax and not worry. Did anyone else have a very early ultrasound like I did?

I think my first u/s was at 6.5 weeks and I saw the heartbeat....You should most definitely see a heartbeat at your next appointment, TRY not to worry!

i had MANY early u/s - as you know from my whole story with the RE....what you saw are GREAT things!!!!!

Yes I had one that early- what you saw is completely normal!

my first U/S was when i was 5w 3d and we saw the sac,and yolk sac, no real heartbeat yet. Then i went back when i was 7 weeks and had my HB, so dont worry everything is where it should be. Your ahead of the came already from where you werre last time. So Congrats again!!!
