Babies movement
I am 23 wks pregnant and have started to feel my little girl kicking. DH can feel it also, so that is so exciting! How often should I feel her move? I definitely feel her everyday, but not so much during the day. Seems to be mostly in the morning and at night. Although a car ride seems to get her going - I am wondering if it's the music on the radio

Re: Babies movement
I didn't start to feel all day movement until around 27-28 weeks. They have their awake and sleep times. SOme days they are more active than others.

Re: Babies movement
i started to feel movement around 21 weeks but it picked up around 26 weeks. Its funny you say she is active in the car cause thats when my babies are quietest! We have taken some long car trips during my pregnancy and often I wouldn't feel themn the whole day. You'll start to learn her active and quiet times.
My kids love food time. They are always most active after and when I am eating and at night when i am relaxing on the couch. Even at 34 weeks when you'd think it was getting crowded in there.

Re: Babies movement
From what I understand my is very active, but I recently found out my placenta is in the front which is why I don't always feel her. (I'm 28 1/2 weeks). I can go a full day and a half without feeling her.
I was in L&D a few weeks ago, and they were surprised that I wasn't feeling her with all the activity they were noticing on the monitor. Even when they did a sono, she was kicking up a storm and I didn't feel a thing (this is when I was told the placenta was all in the front).
I'm hoping as she gets bigger I'll feel her wiggling around a little more.

Re: Babies movement
I'm 24w5d, and I started feeling her move about 3 weeks ago. At first, it was just when I was at rest...sitting or lying down. For the past few days, I feel it on and off all day, even walking around.

Re: Babies movement
It's common to not feel the baby as much during the day b/c you tend to be moving around. That rocks the baby to sleep. You're still pretty early to expect to feel consistent movement. I never did kick counts, but they don't start until 28 weeks.
