Embarassing and Probably Stupid Question -
I am the first to admit I'm oblivious about what's going on w/ my body and when - The more I try to pay attention to things, the more I think they're just in my head -
So, I'm 18 weeks and I woke up at 4AM for my normal trip to pee, but I felt this weird sensation in my lower stomach .........Kind of like the vibration you get off of the wand when you blow bubbles ..........(ridiculous I know, but that's the only way I could describe it .......)
SO, could THAT be this kid moving around ??? - Of course I haven't felt it again all day

That could DEFINITELY be your baby!!
I didn't really feel anything yet at 18 weeks but lots of girls did, and when I did first feel him, that's the kind of feelings I felt. And don't worry, in the beginning it will be very sporadic. As the weeks go on it will become more frequent until they're clear kicks.

It absolutely can be. With DD, her movements gave me that feeling you get when you are on a roller coaster, climbing to the top, just before you go over. It's weird.

Re: Embarassing and Probably Stupid Question -
marisa, that is exactly what i felt! it was weird that i wanted to describe it as a vibration, but that is the only way i could think of to explain it!
it only felt that way to me once or twice, then 2 days later i felt the baby "rolling" - it was like gas bubbles moving around in my stomach, or like someone poking me from the inside.
i never felt those "flutters" that a lot of other women seem to have at first.
congrats!

Totally sounds like it. I like your description of it. I also referred to it as popcorn popping or flutters.

haha.. mine is the same right now as yours! And I am 18 weeks as well... I felt it last week for the first time with the bubbles sensation, felt like the baby was blowing bubbles in my belly... and now i feel the "rollercoaster" sensation and some tiny pokes that could be gas, but I think they are the baby (TMI.. i know)
its amazing isnt it?
