I've joined the real world-I got an EZ-Pass!
I don't know why we waited so long. So now a quick question...does the balance expire?

you can check online to see what your balance is.
depending on how you signed up- you can either give them permission to replenish directly from your credit card into you acct each time it reaches a low amount or you can do a 1 time replenishment each time you get a low balance

We just got our EZ Pass last week! I have no idea why we didn't do it sooner ... I guess b/c we rarely go through toll booths, we both work on LI.
We got it b/c we're taking a road trip to VA.

We borrow MIL and FIL's pass when we go on a trip (you can list different cars on your passes). It's amazing!

It was actually really easy. http://www.e-zpassny.com/index.html Just follow the links. Took about 10 minutes including checking my plate number and getting my c/c.

I need to get this as well, I think it would be easier for dh and I when we go to ac or out of state.

Same here we borrow my MIL's when we drive up to NY from FL. I have the one in FL and it is a godsend.
Oh and make sure you have enough on there to use or you can get a ticket for non payment of toll. Happened to me once and and now i make sure I have a nice balance in there.
