My heart is in pieces
My fathers best friend was tragically killed this morning. He was winterizing his boat and the jack on the trailer gave way and the boat and trailer fell on him and crushed him. He was killed instantly.
He and my dad have been best friends since they were young kids. They went through the Navy together on the same ship. They were each other's best man at their weddings.
I am so sad and sick to my stomach over this.
My family and I were at the house when the coroner came and took him away. I have never been in a more sad situation.
Please keep my dad and Ed's family in your thoughts.
RIP Uncle Ed.
