Growth Sono at 33 weeks!!
Tomorrow, I am getting my growth sono. I am 33 weeks 2 days.
Don't you think it's early? How accurate will it be, I still have 7 more weeks??
Anyone else have it done in their 33rd week?

I'm getting mine at 32.5 weeks and believe that's the natural time to do it.

That's around the time they do one.
At 32 weeks my son was over 4lbs.
Good luck!

I had one at 34 weeks, 2 days. The bigger the babies get I believe the less accurate they are because it's so hard for them to get accurate measurements.

Oh...I thought they were doing it too soon.
So, how will they know how big the baby will be (approx) by the time I'm due?

Re: Growth Sono at 33 weeks!!
I had my first one at 32w and the baby was already 6lbs and a couple of oz. I had a follow up at 36w and he is now almost 8.5. Definitely not too early to do it.
They estimate that the baby gains about 1/2 lb to a 1lb per week in the last 6 weeks or so that's how you'll have your estimate.
