An update on the vomit machine
So yesterday my boss sent me home and told me to go to the doctor to see if they could help. My boss used to be an OB nurse so she was also concerned with the non-stop vomiting. I stopped into my ob's office and they saw me right away with on of the PA's. She was the sweetest women EVER! She gave me Phenergan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear I could have kissed her right then! When I got home I took a hot shower and some Phenergan and then ate a small bowl of broth...I DID NOT throw it up I woke up this morning and I had a missed call from my OB...he was calling to see if I was feeling better. I am so impressed with my OB and everybody there. I was able to eat a small breakfast and luch...I am overjoyed right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Lindi I am so happy for you! I was wondering how you were doing! Keep it up, small light meals for a few days with the medicine. Hopefully you will be feeling a lot better in the next few days!

Re: An update on the vomit machine
I'm so glad to hear it. I was determined to have a "drug-free" pregnancy, and I told this to my OB, but she took my hand and said "You're suffering needlessly!" and gave me the Zofran prescription. It was a godsend.
I'm so glad you're feeling better!
