SCIATICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I'm only 25 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any suggestions as to how I can ease the shooting pain from my asss/hips up into my back and down into my leg?
Sitting on a heating pad (a microwaveable kind) is good for temporary relief... I can't even walk up and down the stairs by the end of the night!
Any thoughts or suggestions?

I am 22 weeks and it has been gradually getting worse since 21 weeks. Tonight was horrendous. Any time I got up or moved I was in so much pain my eyes would tear!
I still haven't found any relief!

The ONLY thing that helped me at all was a belt. It was a belly belt that I wouldnt put directly around my belly, a little higher up. It took pressure off the nerve and gave me relief. I had it VERY bad throughout my ENTIRE pregnancy.

Ugh! I'm actually HOME from WORK today because I physically can't get out of bed!!! Last night it took me forever to walk up the stairs and I was in tears the whole way.
The worst part of all this is people at work probably think I'm fullofshit... I, myself, never knew the intensity of this when other people posted about it. Now that it's here, it's horrible!!! This cannot be for the next FIFTEEN WEEKS!!! I'm a traveling teacher and I go to two different buildings throughout the day!!!
