Got so sick at a friend's house

DH and I went to our friends' house for dinner last night. I hadn't been feeling great all day since the day before I went out for my first lunch since being pregnant and ate just as much at that lunch as I have eaten in the past 16wks. So we sat down to a lovely shrimp scampi dinner and after about 4 bites, I started to feel hot and nauseous, but it passed, so I ate a little more to not be rude. Well about an hour later, I was in the bathroom and threw up the contents of my stomach. I am still feeling the effects a little today. I guess that will teach me to over eat....I also think I am going to stay away from shrimp.

awww hope you feel better! take it easy today and drink lots of liquids!

I had the same experience with shrimp scampi at 14 weeks, I went to a friends house for dinner, and I ate it (even though I was forcing myself to be polite) and ot so sick.... I still don't even like to say the word shrimp!
