diapers question

How many packs/boxes did you buy before the baby was born? I was thinking of stocking up on some, but what if she is a big baby then the swaddlers one won't fit her that long...or will they I do not remember what size swaddlers one fits

Well, we registered for a box of newborn, 1, 2, 3's. We'll see if anybody gets them. If not, then we'll buy a small box of newborn and 1's and save the recipt just in case we'll have to return the newborns. We'll stock up after the birth (I'll send DH to Sams Club)

I bought one pack of swaddlers one, and my aunt has almost a whole box of newborn for me. My son was 8lbs 5 oz, and never fit into newborn, so I was more comfortable with buying the size 1. If my aunt didnt have the newborn, I would have bought a small pack to begin with, and then if I needed more, my husband or someone would have gotten them for me.

yeah, i would start with a box of newborns( 100 count) and a box of size 1 and take it from there...

you might find that the baby will grow out of the newborns right away.. so i wouldnt stock up on newborns..

I suggest not buying not too many.. you wont know what brand will work best for your baby. I had bought a few boxes and registered for Huggies b/c my sis told huggies worked best for girls... well not all girls.. my dd leaked. We ended up bringing the boxes not opened back luckily they let me exchange for pampers.. the opened box i was able to get some coupons from the manufacturer.. which stunk tho b/c i didnt use anything huggies and end up giving away on this site.. so lost money there.
