It's that time of year (DH related..)
That I lose my DH on weekends (and any other possible day) to Hunting.
Forget being a football widow - I am a widow to the hunting season(s) of New York State
Anyone else with me on this boat??

Yikes, that's tough with a newborn! I sometimes feel like I have the flu at the end of the day when I'm alone with both of them till bed time!
By the way, congrats - how is big sister doing? He is really cute! The first few weeks are nuts, then it's not so bad!!!

sorry, not a hunting widow here (we're vegetarians) but I am a surfing widow (and sometimes a fantasy sports widow). Luckily the surf season is ending and DH hardly went this year b/c of the new baby.

Well DH has his license & sometimes goes up to his friend's cabin upstate. He's also talking about going out East...we'll see, right now he's too busy w/ the house.

My hubby isn't into sports at all. He too, loves the great outdoors...fishing, hunting, etc. Although, he doesn't do it as much since we had our son.

I never have my hubby on weekends unless it's raining
Weekends are for golf, working at the golf course in the spring/summer/fall , football in the fall and winter,

 It;s toug, especially now with two.
My DH is never around on weekend. Ever! He works on Saturdays and on Sundays, all he wants to do is his thing - messing with house projects or outside landscaping. I wish just one weekend we could do something as a family!
